12-fight UFC veteran Sam Sicilia Newest to sign multi-fight Bellator contract
Good ! Dropping a unanimous choice to promotional novice Gavin Tucker at UFC Fight Night 105 back in October, Sicilia fell to a three-fight losing skid in the UFC and received his pink slip from the advertising. I like he’s found a new house with Bellator, and hopefully an equally good or better payday. Win or lose, the Washington native constantly shows up to fight and seems for the finish. Congratulations to Sammy Dubs because of his new arrangement, and best of luck on his new chapter.
Frank Mir agrees to deal with Bellator MMA
Nice! The UFC did the right thing and published Mir from his contract, which allowed Bellator to sweep up him. My guess is that they guaranteed him a matchup from Fedor Emalianenko, which made him choose Bellator over competing promotions. I like this move by Mir and look forward to watching him inside the Bellator cage. The Fedor matchup will surely be an interesting one.

NAC Requires lighter gloves for Mayweather vs. McGregor
This was certainly some astonishing news. Two ounces is not much, but I think it makes a little bit of a difference.
Dillashaw: Mighty Mouse was’consolation prize’
TJ Dillashaw is now set to confront UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt in UFC 217 in nyc on November 4th, and the main reason this name fight is presently happening is since UFC flyweight champion Demetrious”Mighty Mouse” Johnson refused to defend his title against Dillashaw if Garbrandt was forced from the UFC 209 competition because of injury. The Duane Ludwig-trained fighter knows that Johnson was not confident in himself to accept the challenge. Speaking to MMA Junkie Radio, Dillashaw explained that the Gabrandt fight is what he wanted all along and the Johnson matchup was just a backup plan. He knows that is not a fantastic fight for him wouldn’t take it,” Dillashaw said. “He’s real worried about this record he wants to break. Go on and let him do this, I guess.”
White: Ferguson, Lee to fight for interim lightweight title Alright, now we are talking! Early popular consensus is that Ferguson will handily defeat Lee, but I’m not so confident. Lee has been very impressive as of late, and I enjoy seeing his growth inside the Octagon. That is a matchup I am looking forward to seeing, and win or lose, I hope Lee doesn’t suffer any injuries so he’ll make a quick turnaround for December’s UFC 218 in his native Detroit, which will be two weeks following the Ferguson bout.
Paulo Borrachinha Costa: ‘I Will Knock Out Johny Hendricks’

No, Diego, Nooooo!!!!! Say it is not so! Just call it quits, my dude. Hang them up gloves. It is time. You do not need to be jumping back around 170 pounds when you were recently analyzing the waters at 145. Do not stick around for your cash, man, the brain damage will not be well worth it.
